Custom Software Engineering · Since 2005

Twenty years of craft.
Now supercharged by AI.

We build mission-critical software for companies in Europe and Latin America. Not vibe-coded. Not cookie-cutter. Engineered from a deep understanding of how businesses actually work, and now amplified by AI in the hands of engineers who know what they're doing.

Who we are

Built different.
By design.

Inventic is a boutique custom software development studio based in La Paz, Bolivia, at 3,600 meters above sea level, if you're counting. We've been building cloud-based software since before that term was fashionable, serving clients in France, Germany, Spain, Bolivia, and beyond since 2005.

We're not a large agency. We're a focused team of senior engineers, architects, and analysts with an unusually deep bench of domain knowledge, financial services, insurance, mining, energy, logistics, and more. We know how industries work, not just how to write code for them.

Most of our client relationships span a decade or more. That's not an accident, it's what happens when you build software that actually holds up, and when you treat every engagement as a long-term partnership, not a one-time transaction.

Our timezone sits at GMT-4, giving us substantial overlap with European mornings and full-day availability across the Americas. We work fluently in English, French, and Spanish.

Our approach to AI

AI doesn't replace
judgment. It requires it.

Everyone is using AI now. The real question is: who can stand behind what it builds?

In the hands of an experienced engineer, AI is an extraordinary accelerant, it compresses weeks into days, explores solution space faster, and handles the mechanical so the human can focus on the structural. In the wrong hands, it generates confident-looking code that quietly accumulates technical debt, security gaps, and architectural fragility.

We've spent 20 years developing something AI cannot manufacture: a deep understanding of how businesses actually operate. How regulated energy markets work. How mineral export logistics interact with financial reporting. How insurance brokerage complexity becomes reliable software. How systems fail, and how to build them to recover.

That accumulated judgment and hard-won expertise are the things that determine whether AI-generated output is a solid foundation or a ticking clock. We use AI to move faster and think broader, never as a substitute for knowing what we're doing.

A word on "vibe coding": Delegating code generation to AI without owning the output is how you get software that ships clean and breaks under load. We don't build that. Every line we ship, whether AI-assisted or not, is reviewed, understood, and owned by an engineer who can defend every decision it encodes.

01

Domain knowledge first

Before we write a line of code, we understand your business, its processes, its people, its economics, and where it's headed. AI accelerates implementation. It doesn't replace the judgment and context that make it correct.

02

Architecture that survives

Good architecture isn't something you add later. We design for scale, resilience, and maintainability from the first commit, regardless of the tools used to get there.

03

AI as a force multiplier

We integrate AI into our development workflow, code review, and analysis processes, increasing output quality and speed without compromising the engineering fundamentals.

04

Owned, auditable output

Every deliverable is understood end-to-end by a human engineer. If something breaks at 3 AM, we know why, and we can fix it without reverse-engineering a black box.

05

Long-term thinking

We build for the client you'll be in five years, not just the problem you have today. That's why our longest relationships have lasted over 15 years.

What we do

Full-stack engineering.
Zero shortcuts.

From greenfield architecture to legacy modernization, from mobile field apps to high-throughput SaaS platforms, we handle the full software lifecycle. Every engagement is custom. Every solution is built to last.

01

Custom Software Engineering

End-to-end design and development of purpose-built web and mobile systems for complex business domains. We specialize in workflows that off-the-shelf tools can't model.

03

Cloud-Native Architecture

High-availability, scalable AWS infrastructure built in from day one, not bolted on afterward. Microservices, containers, DevOps pipelines, and disaster recovery for systems that can't afford downtime.

Mission-Critical Systems

We specialize in software where failure has real consequences, regulated industries, 24/7 operations, multi-jurisdiction compliance, and high-stakes financial transactions. We've done it for 20 years. We know what it takes.

Mobile & Field Applications

Offline-capable mobile apps for field operations, data capture, GPS tracking, digital signatures, real-time sync with back-office systems. Built for the people who use them, not just the processes they serve.

System Integrations & APIs

Connecting disparate systems into coherent workflows: ERP integrations, payment gateways across multiple countries, identity and credit scoring services, digital signatures, WhatsApp Business, analytics platforms, and legacy system bridges.

Systems that run
the real world.

These aren't prototypes or MVPs. They are production systems managing millions in daily transactions, tens of thousands of regulated operations per year, and critical logistics chains across continents. Many have been running for over 15 years, continuously evolved, never replaced.

Sergaz S.a.R.L. · France

Industrial Gas Meter Operations Management (eGaz ERP)

🇫🇷 France 15+ years

Sergaz is one of France's leading industrial gas meter verification companies, operating under strict regulatory compliance across the entire French territory. We built and have continuously evolved their core ERP, eGaz, from the ground up.

The system manages the full operational lifecycle: scheduling and route optimization for field technicians, real-time mobile data capture (measurements, photos, digital signatures), fleet tracking, and complete audit trails required by French regulation. Technicians deployed across France interact with the core system in real time from mobile devices, making critical operational decisions on-site.

Inventic manages 100% of the technology, software development and full AWS cloud infrastructure, for this mission-critical, fully regulated system.

Minera San Cristóbal S.A. · Bolivia

Mineral Export Core System

🇧🇴 Bolivia 15+ years

Minera San Cristóbal is the 8th largest zinc mine in the world. Their export operation runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and it runs on software we built.

The system manages the complete export chain: mine-to-port logistics, convoy and rail scheduling, container tracking end-to-end, port stockpile management, vessel loading, and demurrage control. Simultaneously, it generates real-time financial reporting, invoicing, royalties, freight costs, and tax calculations, at every stage of the cycle, integrated with international commodity pricing.

A system this complex, at this scale, operating 24/7 with $2M+ in minerals moving daily, requires engineering that tolerates no ambiguity. We've maintained and grown it since 2010.
